adMix modules

adMix is a comprehensive system, and includes about 25 different modules. All adMix modules are intergrated in one way or another, and the are all addressing the same database. The number of programs are about 3000. The picture above shows the connection between some of the more important adMix modules.

One of the principles in adMix is that the modules are integrated so that information can flow from one module to antother without the need to be registred twice.

One example of this could be a prospect in the market analysis, who is given the status of "Customer" by a simple "j" in the code in Market analysis, or that a tender easily can be converted into an order, where it can generate purchasing orders. Such a Purchasing order can then be used for control of vendor prices when the vendor invoice arrives, etc.

adMix can be run with foreign currencies and in different languages.

adMix is compatible with the Internet through its TCP/IP module, and this means that You can run adMix over the net with all of it's advantages.

Tender

The Tender module creates tenders which later can be the fundamentals of on order. A Tender can easily be registred as an order when accepted by the Customer. The registration of a Tender is easy, and the module works with the same type of data as Order entry does. The Module produces a Document wich can be sent to the Customer.

If You normally write tenders with lots of text and pictures etc. You can still have advantage of registrating the tender in adMix, since You will get a structured base for an order. This module is optional.

Order

The Ordermodule is integrated with the Tendermodule, and cam import a tender and make an order of it. The Ordemodule is also integrated with the Planning module. It tells the Planning module of the different needs that arises when taking an order.

There is also a link to the purchasing module, and certain parts of the inventory can be purchased automaticly.

The order module can also produce several different documents, like order confirmation, picklists, freight documents, etc.

In the Order statistics You can see the figures for a certain period of time, or for a certain salesman etc.

When completed the Order is expediated and becomes an Invoice.

Invoicing

The Invoicing Module creates Invoices from expediated orders. You can also register an Invoice without having an order. The Invoicing module updates the Statistics, The Accounts Recieveble, and the module of Book-keeping.

Inventory

The Inventory Module works with FIFO, and different Places of Inventory is possible through an optional module. The making of the Inventory can be done by scanning, and the Module updates the Book-keeping.

Purchasing

The Purchasing Module can receive signals from the Order and Inventory Modules, but You can also register a Purchase manually. The Module produces a Purcase Order to be sent to the Vendor. The POs is later on a base for uppdating the Book-keeping.

Precalculation

The Module of Precalculation has two branches, one for Purchasing, and one for Manufactured products, with component structures etc. This module is optional.

Planning

The Module of planning eases the work of Planning. It contains a series of Reports and questioning programs. It is optional.

Requirements

The Module of Requirements gives signals to the Purcasing Module from registred planning and from orders. This module is optional.

Statistics

The module of Statistics holds a great number of reports that shows data from many different aspects, per article, per customer, per salesman, type of customer, type of article etc. adMix contains numerous fields for codes and types, so that the statistics can be viewed in many ways.

The statistics mainly concerns the invoicing or new orders in different relations, or for different periods, with or without a comparison with earlier periods. The basis for the statistics is the customer file, article file and the deliveries file. There is also a salesman file wich is optional.

Marketanalysis

The Module of Market analysis is used for gathering info about the prospects. This information can later on be compiled into different reports and documents. The module contains a report generator and a free text notice routine. The Module works with an adress file for prospects on an individual level, and with a notice file for free info. This module is optional.

Time Accounting

The module ov Time Accounting and Invoicing (TAI)is a capable module for enterprises that work with assignments, and invoice their time.

TAI handles many forms of commissionary activity: running account, fixed price, service contracts machine renting, sales of spare parts, service orders etc.

Every customer can have an unlimited number of commissions, and every commission can be divided into underprojects etc.

The Module is linked to Salary, Inventory, Accounts Payable Come and Go Accounts Recieveble och General Ledger.

TAI includes its own invoicing routine for fast and efficient production of invoices. There is also routines for centralized registring of timecards, or a routine for distributed registring of time cards.

A large number of reports and questioning programs gives access to the database. This module is optional.

Salary

The Module of Salary contains all functions for the most common areas of activity. The module is easy to run, and through pre set values the system is semiautomatic.

The module cooperates with the Come and Go Module, as the General Ledger Module. This module is optional.

Accounts Recieveble

The module of Accounts Receiveble is mainly uppdated from the Invoicing modules, but You can always enter manual invoices. The module contains routines for reminders and interest invoices.

Accounts Payable

This module holds routines for attestation of incoming invoices, accounting of invoices, full handling of foreign currencies, and links to Purchasing etc.

The module contains links to General Ledger, Fixed Assets, TAI and Cash Flow.

General Ledger

The module of General Ledger contains 4 levels of booking and multiple budgets and simulation. The module imports information from Inventory, Invoicing, Accounts payable, accounts receiveble, TAI, Fixed Assets, och Salary. H2>Cash Flow

The module shows the cash flow from now and ten weeks ahead. The module looks at data from accounts receiveble accounts payable, order module, purchasing module and general ledger.

You can investigate the details of the cash flow, and do simulations. This module is optional.

Fixed Assets

The module works with a Fixed assets file, and a series of secondary files with insurance index etc. Different methods of writing off can be used. The module is linked to the General Ledger. The module is optional.

Base

The base module is included in all adMix installations, and contains menu-functions, security, runtime, helproutines, printerhandling, communication protocol, backup routines etc.

adMix menu is flexible and comprehensive. adMix is delivered with a ready made menu, but it can be modified in many ways. You can work with up to 5 sublevels, and every menu can consist of 27 programs or submenus. Every department or operator can have a menu of his own, or he can be started at a certain program in the standard menu. At end of program he can be logged out if desirable.

Uniqe passwords can be given every menu, submenu or program. All enterys can be logged.

Through the TCP/IP protocol in the client-server part of adMix You can run adMix over the Internet through the client adWin

Flexible printerhandling gives a variety of possibilities.

Automatic backup every night, and batches of reportjobs is at hand.

File Management

The module of file management is comprehensive. here all central files of the system are managed. Posts are added, changed, written on reports or deleted. Samples of those files are Articles, customers, vendors, currencies, discounts, salesmen, employees, terms of payment, general ledger, etc.

Every major file according to the above, has a specific program for it´s management. For certain extensive files, like customers, vendors, employees, and articles, there are two versions. One for the basic data, and one for all data.

Every major file has one or more reports so You can list the file in whole or part.

Report generator

Every central file in adMix has it´s own report generator. Today there is about 30. The ones for Customers, vendors, articles, and deliveries are included in the adMix base. The rest are optional.
With the report generator anyone can create a simple report within 10 minutes. A created report stays in the menu system as long as it is wanted there.
Complicated reports may take a little longer then 10 minutes.

The principle is that You first pick out the fields You want in the report, in the preferred order. This order will also become the sort order.

After this You define wich fields that shall be summed, and where the sums are to be broken.

After this You pick the fields where range are to be given:

From and including Customer:___ To and including Customer:___.

If there is no given range, all items will be choosen.

After this You may specify if the report shall have headlines and pagenumbers etc. You may also specify the output as a file.

If the report are to be sent to Excell, You can do that.

In the last picture You give the report a name and some other details. After thar You are ready to go.

Data Import

This module can import data to adMix, and create new content to files, or modify existent data. One way of use is when You get prices and product files from Your vendors. It is also useful when You start up with adMix from an old system.

Import of external addresses is another example.

The import programs work with specific layouts, and a set of rules for how to handle the data. This module is optional.

Data Export

This module can export data från the adMix database, per datafile. The exported file has a fixed format, but the separators can be choosen by the user. The module is optional.

Ad hoc Query

Ad hoc Query is ca search-module where You can drill down into the database. If You for instance have a balance which differs from the expected, You click on it, and the details of the balance is showed in a new window. You may then scroll around amongst these data, and click further down, etc.

You may go up and down in the information, but also sideways.

Come and Go

This module is a come-and-go function where You can specify different types of absence and presence. The module is integrated with the TAI-module. This module is optional.

EDI

The EDI-module contains at present messages for order-in, invoice-out, and purchase to vendor. New EDI-messages are developed when the need arises. This module is optional.

Internet

The client-server module makes it possible to run adMix over the Internet. You can reach adMix from anywhere on the net.

adMix can also produce its reports in HTML-format.
